Sinopsis:
- Combinando el drama humano y el conflicto político la película contempla la grave situación de miles de cubanos encerrados en prisiones estadounidenses, retenidos en un limbo legal sin el pertinente proceso judicial.
Thousands of Cuban detainees have been held in prisons throughout the U.S. with no due process or legal redress and have been behind bars, for as long as 10 years. Many of the Excludables claim to have been abused by a prison psychiatrist. This powerful documentary which includes exclusive footage of the detainees and interviews with officials such as U.S. Federal Judge Marvin Shoob and former US envoy to Cuba Wayne Smith, combines wrenching human drama and political conflict... Since there are no agreements between the US and Cuba, these men are in a legal limbo that leaves them imprisoned indefinitely, although the film also follows some who have been returned to Cuba.
